ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Susan Rutherford—a lifelong crafter with a passion for creativity, connection and community.

From my earliest memories, I’ve been drawn to projects that are creative, relaxing, and, most of all, fun. Over the years, I’ve discovered that crafting is even more meaningful when shared with others, which inspired me to found the Simple Delights Crafting Circle and begin hosting weekend retreats more than a decade ago.

This journey also led me to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator—something I’ve proudly done for the past ten years. I love collaborating with other demonstrators to host events like Stamp Camps, Kid & Me Bingo, Dive In Days, and the Merry Makers holiday cardmaking series. Because I spent 25 years in nonprofit work, my classes and events also include an opportunity to support local agencies and groups.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to keep spreading the joy of stamping and crafting. Whether you’re new to crafting or a seasoned maker, there’s a seat at the table just for you. Let’s keep creating, laughing, and learning together—your next creative adventure starts here!
